Description
This 8000D touch-screen multiparameter patient monitor is a portable bedside and transport monitoring system designed for use across ICU, CCU, operating rooms, clinics, ambulances, and home-care settings. It supports neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients, making it suitable for facilities that need a flexible monitor for different care environments.
The unit features a 14-inch colour TFT high-resolution touch screen that presents large numerics and waveforms for clear observation during routine monitoring or patient transfer. Confirmed monitoring functions include 5-lead ECG, SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure, pulse rate, and 2-channel temperature measurement. Respiration appears on some closely related 8000D variants, but this function should be considered variant-dependent for this configuration.
Monitoring Capabilities
The ECG system uses RA, LA, LL, RL, and V leads, with display modes I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, and V. Pulse rate measurement covers 20 to 300 bpm with 1 bpm resolution and ±3 bpm accuracy. SpO2 measurement spans 0 to 100% with 1% resolution, offering ±2% accuracy from 70 to 100% and ±3% accuracy from 40 to 69%. NIBP uses the oscillometric method and provides Manual, Auto, and STAT modes for adult, pediatric, and neonatal applications. Temperature monitoring covers 0 to 50°C with 0.1°C resolution.
Data Storage and Alarms
The monitor includes 3-level audible and visual alarms and supports clinical review with up to 720 hours of trend storage, 10,000 NIBP records, 12 hours of waveform review, and 200 alarm events. Drug concentration titration analysis is also included.
Power and Included Items
AC mains operation is supported, and the built-in 11.1V 24Wh lithium-ion battery provides approximately 2 hours of backup for transport or emergency use, with a low-battery warning. The monitor weighs about 4.1 kg. Typical accessories include a power cable, ground cable, user manual, SpO2 sensor, adult NIBP cuff with tubing, ECG cable, and temperature probe.
