The Apple iPad 11-inch (A16) (2025) is a Wi-Fi tablet designed for everyday productivity, media use, communication, and creative tasks in a lightweight format. This 256GB model comes in a pink finish and combines a large Liquid Retina display with Apple’s A16 chip for responsive performance across apps, streaming, note-taking, and multitasking in iPadOS.
Display and visual experience
The 11-inch Liquid Retina display features a 10.86-inch actual diagonal and a resolution of 2360 x 1640 at 264 ppi. It uses LED-backlit IPS technology for clear viewing, with True Tone support to help the screen adapt to ambient lighting conditions. The display also offers sRGB colour support, 500 nits brightness, and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating for easier everyday handling.
Performance and connectivity
Powered by the A16 chip, the device includes a 5-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine to support smooth app performance, graphics handling, and machine learning features. Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3 provide fast wireless connectivity, while the USB-C port supports charging, DisplayPort output, and USB 2.0 data transfer up to 480 Mbps. It also supports one external display up to 4K at 60Hz.
Cameras, audio, and everyday use
A 12MP Wide rear camera with autofocus captures photos, panoramas up to 63MP, and 4K video at up to 60 fps. On the front, the 12MP landscape camera supports Center Stage and records 1080p video at up to 60 fps, making it well suited to video calls. Landscape stereo speakers and dual microphones support clear sound for meetings, streaming, and recordings.
Design and compatibility
The iPad measures 248.6 x 179.5 x 7.0 mm and weighs 477 g. Touch ID is integrated into the top button for secure unlocking and authentication. It supports Apple Pencil (USB-C), Apple Pencil (1st generation) with the required adapter, and Magic Keyboard Folio. The built-in 28.93Wh battery delivers up to 10 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi or video playback. In the box are the iPad, a 1 m USB-C Charge Cable, and a 20W USB-C Power Adapter.
