Ansell GAMMEX Latex Dermashield Sterile in size 8.0 is a sterile, powder-free natural rubber latex surgical glove intended for sterile surgical procedures. It features a cream or natural colour finish, a standard thickness profile, and an anatomic hand form to support fit and dexterity during clinical use.
The glove includes a straight cuff with SUREFIT to help maintain cuff position, while the polymer-coated inner surface with DERMASHIELD technology is designed to assist donning with either dry or damp hands. The outer surface is engineered to provide secure instrument grip, supporting control in procedures where precision handling is important.

For size 8.0, the specified minimum length is 270 mm, with measured lot averages of 290 to 296 mm. The specified palm width is 96 to 108 mm, with measured lot averages of 102 to 104 mm.

Physical Properties
Lot-tested physical performance before aging showed force at break of 23.0 to 24.2 N, elongation at break of 814 to 873%, and force for 300% elongation of 1.6 to 1.9 N. After accelerated aging, force at break measured 18.6 to 19.8 N, with elongation at break of 827 to 870%.
Sterility and Quality
These gloves are gamma sterilized using Cobalt-60 and passed 1000 mL watertight testing. They have a freedom from holes AQL of 0.65 and meet AS/NZS 4179, supporting consistent quality for surgical applications where sterility and barrier integrity are essential.
