Description
The Lockly Visage Zeno Series Facial Recognition Deadbolt is a smart keyless deadbolt designed to offer multiple secure entry options along with remote access and door monitoring. It combines built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and encrypted Bluetooth pairing, allowing direct connection for app control without requiring a separate hub.
Access and unlocking options
This lock supports several ways to enter, making it suitable for households with different access preferences. Its 3D facial recognition system uses radar-based approach-to-unlock and dual infrared sensors to detect users in varied lighting conditions, including at night. Recognition takes about 1 second, and facial data is encrypted and stored locally on the lock. The system can store up to 100 face images.
A 3D biometric fingerprint reader with AI learning provides fingerprint recognition in about 0.2 seconds and supports up to 99 fingerprints. Additional entry methods include Apple Home Key with iPhone or Apple Watch, PIN Genie randomized keypad codes, smartphone control through the Lockly Home app, Scan-to-Open QR code unlocking, voice control through Siri, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant, and 2 physical keys with a re-keyable 5-pin cylinder.
Smart features
Through the Lockly Home app, users can remotely lock or unlock the door, check lock status, manage users, receive alerts, and review access logs. The app stores up to 90 days of activity history, while the lock itself stores up to 100 records on-device. Access can be assigned through temporary, recurring, one-time, and offline access codes, as well as eKeys, eBadges, sub-admin access, and family sharing.
Additional features include Welcome Mode, auto-lock, low-battery alerts, door-jam alerts, and a wired door sensor for open and close status monitoring.
Power, construction, and fit
The lock uses a rechargeable lithium battery system with two included batteries and a stated 10,000 mAh capacity, offering up to 8 months of battery life under regular use. It supports USB-C charging and emergency backup power. The housing is rated IP65 and built to ANSI Grade 2.
It fits doors from 35 to 80 mm thick, with an adjustable 60 mm or 70 mm backset. DIY installation is designed to take about 30 minutes. Finish options include Matte Black and Satin Nickel, and a touchscreen cover is included to help shield the keypad from direct sunlight.
