Description
The National Health Australia Personal Medical Watch is a wrist-worn 4G medical alarm device designed to support safety, communication, and everyday reassurance. Supplied pre-programmed with user contact details, it is ready to use with minimal setup. The watch combines emergency alert functions with location sharing and basic wellness features in a wearable format suited to daily use.
Safety and emergency response
The SOS function is activated by pressing and holding the button for about three seconds. Once triggered, the watch can send alerts and begin sequential calling to up to three personal contacts, or connect to an optional 24/7 professional monitoring service. Automatic fall detection is included, with adjustable sensitivity to better match the wearer’s activity level. A false-alarm cancellation feature is also documented.
GPS location tracking allows the wearer’s position to be shared by SMS, typically as a Google Maps link, helping contacts identify location quickly during an alert.
Communication and operating modes
The device supports two-way voice calling, and approved contacts can call the watch directly. Additional documented functions include contact whitelisting and auto-answer.
Two operating modes are available. Simple Mode works without a mobile app and focuses on core alerting and GPS link sharing by SMS. Advanced Mode adds app-based alerts, tracking, geofencing, remote viewing of health information, and broader control over contacts and fall settings.
Health features and power
Included wellness tools include medication reminders, heart-rate monitoring, SpO2, blood pressure readings, and step counting. These readings are intended as guide-only and are not for surgical or diagnostic use.
The watch uses a magnetic charging dock or cradle and offers an estimated battery life of about 2 to 7 days depending on usage and signal strength. Programmable low-battery alerts are also available.
Design and connectivity
This SIM-based 4G watch is shower and splash resistant, with IP67 fresh-water resistance noted in documentation. It is available in black, navy blue, pink, white, and red, with a matching silicone strap included. Optional magnetic silicone and leather straps are also available, along with digital or analog watch face options.
