Description
Nutricia Nutrison Low Sodium is a nutritionally complete, ready-to-use enteral tube feed designed for people who require nutritional support alongside sodium restriction. Supplied in a 1000 mL OpTri bottle, it is suitable for both closed- and open-system feeding and may be used as a sole source of nutrition when taken under medical supervision.
This formula is intended for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition in patients with conditions where a reduced sodium intake may be required, including hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, oedema and hypertension. It provides a low sodium content of 25 mg per 100 kcal and is fibre-free, making it suitable for residue-restricted diets. The formula is also carotenoid enriched.

Important safety information
This product is not for parenteral use. It is not suitable for patients with galactosaemia, cow's milk protein allergy, or in situations where sodium restriction is contraindicated, such as uncomplicated renal disease, normal pregnancy, ileostomy or ileostomised patients, and severe hypothyroidism. It is not suitable for infants under 1 year and should be used with caution in children aged 1 to 6 years. Digestive tract coagulation due to drug interaction may occur and requires monitoring.
Use and storage
Check the product appearance before use and shake well. Do not dilute or add medications. Use at room temperature and handle aseptically. Store unopened in a cool, dry place. After opening, refrigerate and discard any unused contents after 24 hours.
