A ready-to-use liquid thickener from Precise, supplied in portable single-serve sachets for the dietary management of dysphagia. Designed to thicken hot or cold beverages, milks, supplements, and laxatives to prescribed consistencies within the IDDSI framework when prepared as directed. Simple tear–squeeze–mix preparation.

IDDSI compatibility and dosing

• Levels 1–4 achievable; typical single-serve dosing below supports Levels 2–4. Actual outcomes depend on beverage base and volume.

General preparation

• Measure liquid, add required sachets, and stir briskly for approximately 30 seconds.

Cold beverages (4–10°C), 100 mL serve

• Level 2: 1 sachet
• Level 3: 2 sachets
• Level 4: 4 sachets

Hot liquids (45–65°C), 75–100 mL serve

• Level 2: 1 sachet
• Level 3: 2 sachets
• Level 4: 4 sachets
• Serve immediately after mixing.

Milks (4–10°C), 100 mL serve

• Level 2: 1 sachet
• Level 3: 2 sachets
• Level 4: 4 sachets
• After mixing, allow to stand for about 10 minutes, then re-stir before serving.

Storage and handling

• Unopened: Store in a cool, dry place at ambient temperature away from direct sunlight; refrigeration not required. Shelf life up to 12 months from manufacture.
• After preparation: Cover and refrigerate at or below 4°C between servings. Follow site food safety protocols (2-hour/4-hour rule). Discard any leftover prepared drinks after 24 hours.
