Description

The ResMed AirFit N30i is a nasal cradle CPAP mask designed to deliver therapy with minimal facial contact. Its under-the-nose cushion sits beneath the nose and seals around the nostrils without inserting into them, which can suit users who prefer an open field of vision and a less intrusive mask feel. The cushion also incorporates a septum bridge and uses a softer silicone design without a rigid plastic chassis, allowing it to flex more naturally as sleeping position changes.

Key design features

A top-of-the-head tube connection helps keep tubing routed up and away from the front of the face. The connection includes 360-degree rotation and a quick-release elbow, making it easier to disconnect from the CPAP device when needed while maintaining flexibility during movement.

The SpringFit frame is soft and flexible, designed to adapt to different facial profiles. The frame also supports compensated airflow if one side becomes partially compressed or restricted, which can be helpful for side sleepers.

Comfort and sleep positioning

The AirFit N30i is intended for use in multiple sleeping positions, including side sleeping. Its low-contact layout and flexible cushion aim to maintain a stable seal while reducing pressure across the face.

QuietAir diffused venting disperses exhaled air for quieter operation. ResMed states that the redesigned vent and cushion setup is 57% quieter than the original AirFit N30i vent design.

Sizing and components

Frame sizes are available in Small and Standard. Cushion sizes include Small, Medium, Small Wide, and Wide, with color coding as follows: Small (Red), Medium (Blue), Small Wide (Purple), and Wide (Grey).
