Description
ResMed AirFit F20 is a full-face mask designed to deliver prescribed positive airway pressure (CPAP/APAP/BiLevel) via a comfortable, stable interface covering the nose and mouth. It is intended for use with the supplied elbow that integrates an anti-asphyxia valve (AAV) and vent assembly to support safe operation.
Key features
- InfinitySeal silicone cushion with variable thickness adapts to facial contours to help maintain a reliable seal across a wide pressure range.
- Under-eye, soft, fabric-lined padded frame preserves an open field of vision and accommodates glasses.
- Quick-release magnetic lower clips enable easy on/off without re-adjusting headgear; a non-magnetic clip option is available.
- QuietAir diffused vent reduces perceived noise and disperses exhaled air gently.
- Quick-release elbow with swivel simplifies connection/disconnection and allows freedom of movement.
- Modular design with individually replaceable frame, cushion, headgear, elbow, and clips.
Compatibility and setup
- Compatible with CPAP/APAP/BiLevel devices.
- Universal 22 mm tubing connection.
- Set therapy device mask type to “Full Face.”

Safety information
- Contains magnets: keep mask magnets at least 150 mm (6 in) from susceptible implants/devices in the user or close contacts. Consider the non‑magnetic version if applicable.
- Ensure the therapy device is running whenever the mask is worn; keep vent holes and the AAV clear. Do not use if valve/vent is damaged.
- Supervision required for users unable to remove the mask unassisted; may not suit users predisposed to aspiration.
- When using supplemental oxygen: turn off oxygen when the PAP device is not operating; keep away from open flames/smoking; use in a well‑ventilated room.
- Avoid connecting flexible PVC accessories directly to mask parts.
Cleaning and maintenance (home use)
- Daily: Disassemble and handwash cushion, frame, and elbow in warm (~30°C) water with mild liquid detergent; rinse thoroughly; air‑dry out of direct sunlight.
- Weekly: Handwash headgear separately; rinse, gently squeeze out water, and air‑dry.
- Inspect regularly and replace any component showing cracks, discoloration, tears, or deterioration.
Storage, disposal, and service life
- Store clean and dry, out of direct sunlight. Dispose of with normal household refuse (no hazardous substances). Service life depends on usage, maintenance, and environment; replace mask/components as needed.
