Shiley Pediatric Tracheostomy Care Tubes by Medtronic are designed for airway management in neonates and children, with geometry tailored to smaller pediatric airways. The nominal size 3.5 offering is available in both cuffless and cuffed configurations, allowing clinicians to select the option that best suits the patient’s airway and care requirements.

A soft, transparent non-DEHP neck flange is designed to support comfort while improving visibility of the skin and stoma site during routine assessment. The tube also includes a recessed area near the connector to help reduce inferior stoma irritation. Eyelets and recesses are provided to assist with securing tape ties or a tracheostomy tube holder, and the standard 15 mm connector supports compatibility with appropriate respiratory connections.

The cuffless size 3.5 variant has a 3.2 mm inner diameter, 5.4 mm outer diameter, and 40 mm length.

Cuffed

The cuffed size 3.5 variant features a low-profile, low-pressure TaperGuard cuff. This version has a 3.5 mm inner diameter, 5.4 mm outer diameter, and 40 mm length.

Material and Handling Information

These tracheostomy tubes are not made with natural rubber latex. Each tube is supplied sterile if the package is unopened and is intended for single-patient, single-use application. Re-sterilization is not recommended.
